A volume of the Collins French Gem dictionary was taken apart and all the pages except the frontpiece page were spun into paper threads and woven into a tapestry. The title page of the book can be exhibited alongside the finished work.

Statement
Collins French Gem Dictionary is part of a series of dismantling the dictionary and recreating it in another form. The idea of representing the materiality of words and texts, re-valuing the paper and undermining the authority of the dictionary is part of the thinking inspiring these works.
